Reputation – What Builds/Kills a Dommes Reputation?

Recently I was reading a discussion from My friend Xtac (on FetLife).  Knowing how things can get when you have people out there who try to spread lies and rumors about others, just to make themselves look better in the light of day, I figured I would put my “two cents” into it…

A Domme’s Reputation is built by getting out and interacting with submissives.  Going to play parties and meeting them.  I started privately learning about BDSM from two Male Doms and My Grandmother.  What?  Grandma had submissives males serving her until Cancer took her from the world at the young age of 62 years old.  My Grandma taught Me that men who are strong in their devotion to serve a Dominant Female will move heaven and earth to ensure her happiness by any means necessary, sometimes even Bankruptcy or upon death.  If the Domme has more than one slave/submissive serving Her, She has done the work that is required of Her to get Herself to that level.  Traveling around the local area first and establishing a rep with the local submissives.  Branching out to other cities that are accessible and meeting other submissives.  Getting slaves to know you, interacting with them personally.  Nudging them the right way that will insure their continued servitude.

However, what can kill a Domme’s Reputation is simply the following:

1. Bashing another Domme on Social Networks (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Personal Websites, etc.) just because you don’t like her/him.  Or because that person believed that the other tried to step into their “spot light”. Not thinking that something else might have happened.
2. Not following Protocol set by those who have paved the way for Us. (I have met plenty of people in My life who simply think that Protocol [or Rules] is not for them.
3. Sending discouraging messages to other Dommes/slaves, bad mouthing them or their Owner for something that they believe is not being done right. (Who died and made you their Mother/Father?)

These, in My honest opinion, are just three of the reasons why a Domme kills her own reputation.  In the world today, there are people who are simply too busy in other peoples business, to see what’s going on in front of them.  If your personal “house” is not in order, then what is going to happen when you open your mouth and talk negatively about another Domme/slave?  What possibly could be the reason that someone doesn’t like another person?

Mostly it’s just pure plain hatred.  End of story.
