Going back to school!

I have transitioned from NY life to living and working in AL. I’ve been here 3 1/2 months, applied for a Non-Driver ID, and applied for Health Insurance. I have also been looking for gainful employment training in the healthcare industry. So, I am going back to school with my focus on Phlebotomy and Administrative Medical Assistant.

One small hiccup in my journey is my computer. Apparently, it requires a new power cord and some hardware upgrades in order for my old Dell Latitude D540 to function correctly.  🙄 Yes, I have computer skills that make fixing the laptop easier. However, I want to keep it separate for a good reason from my academic life and potential employment training.

Wanted: finsubs

I’m looking for a few finsubs who are up for the challenge. I want a new laptop for my studies. While I upgrade the motherboard, video and graphic cards, and CPU for the Dell Latitude D540.

The laptop I want is on Domina Vengeance’s Throne Wishlist. Orientation starts May 8th (in-person at Jefferson State College in Birmingham), and classes start online right afterward.
