Not many people know this…
My maternal grandmother was diagnosed with Breast Cancer between the ages of 50/55. She eventually had a Double Mastectomy, resulting in the loss of both breasts. However, the doctor who performed the surgery did not remove all of the cancer. Which resulted in it spreading to her other organs. She died at the age of 62 yrs old (11/03/1991).
I also lost a 1st cousin to Breast Cancer many years ago. I did not know this as we were estranged due to distance (she was raised in Birmingham, AL and I in Newburgh, NY). I did get to meet her son at a few family functions and I am happy to see that he’s doing well.
Prognosis
On December 16th, 2025 I had a routine Mammogram procedure done. The findings were as followed:
- Breast Density: There are scattered areas of fibroglandular density.
- Right breast: There is a 3-4 mm circumscribed mass in the central right breast, middle depth.
- Left breast: No suspicious mass calcifications or architectural distortion in the left breast.
Today’s Mammogram and Ultrasound
So, today’s Mammogram definitely was enlightening, albeit painful. There is definitely a mass in my right breast, and she wasn’t happy with being smashed and prodded. 😂 That mass is definitely sensitive and was protesting.
I’ll be waiting for the results of this round of testing and give you all the details on what’s happening next.
Importance on getting checked
As a Domme who has been in the shadows of this disease since a teenager, I know how important it is to get checked for any form of Cancer. Yearly screenings help to get proper treatment early and should never be put off until later. A lot of places have free screenings (check in your area for information). Not to mention, this disease has no gender neutrality. Meaning Men and Women can develop Breast Cancer. So fellas, just because Grandma had it or another female family member doesn’t mean that you won’t get it. GET TESTED!
Btw 🐷, which one is paying for my lunch? 😉 Cash app or Venmo?
